Is it normal for them to be on the sandbed? I've had mine for 3 days now, and i looked and he's on teh sand. The Feeding Tenticals are all out and moving. Tonight was his first time with all 4 lights on. I just don't know if this is normal or not, i'm kind of worried. Is it ok and pick him up and place him on rock!?

Im no expert but I think he should be fine on the sand bed, Most pictures I see of them they are actually in the sandbed of the aquarium. He might be finding some good food there :).

i'm hoping that your right, there's lots of junk on the sand from a die off and what not, so i'm hoping all he's doing is picking up stuff to shade himself, i turned off the lights to see if that's the problem.

There is no problem. They'll go where they like, can pretty much maneuver anywhere. Probably scavenging.
