    my square collection vial for this test got smashed. anybody know how many ml's that it needs to fill to the green line in the collection vial? i couldnt find the exact amount anywhere , so turning to the good folks here at 3reef. any help much appreciated and will be rewarded with K. thnx in advance.

    My pleasure, I think it would be wise to measure the capacities of all the vials to have a volume on them just for emergencies now that I have seen your post. LOL

    Glad to be of assistance, good number wish I could get mine there but am fighting bryopsis, i have mine above 2000 and am fighting to a draw. I am going to get Kent Tech M when I have the cash it seems to work best. I have been using Seachem Reef Advantage Magnesium and Epsom salt but it doesn't seem to be as effective as when I had some Kent even though I did not have enough Kent to get to 1600. 1600 is supposed to be the minimal effect level for mag to fight bryopsis.

    good luck with the battle 2in10. thats what i use the kent techm. great stuff. i recently bough a 64 oz bottle for 20.10 off an online place up here.

    Divott, glad you got your answer. Doctors Foster and Smith usually post directions for alot of the stuff they sell, always for any test kits they have. You can find them on the 'more information' tab on the product page. I've had to use them for that purpose a couple times. Just thought it'd be a 'good to know' thing for ya! :)

    thnx reef , but it was more a measurement i needed. a just to make sure i was using enough water to compare. it all worked well, and thnx for the headsup.
