I have been using this product for about a year in my system and was wondering if im using the right amount? I have never had an issue with it, i just seem to be running out of it quickly. I buy the 1 liter bottle and change it out every month. 1 liter is roughly 4 cups. So if 1 liter/4 cups treats 160-240gallons, than dividing 160 and 240 by 4 gives you 40 and 60 which would be treated by 1 cup of SeaGel. If i am doing the math correctly one should be using 1/2 cup for 20-30gal tanks and 1/4 cup for 10-15gal tanks? Does this sound correct?
Im using the product in filter media bags, on media rack in the back of my biocubes.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I am not familar with this product. Sounds very similar to chempure elite, which I change out once every 2 months. Posting a link just for others that have not seen it.

I guess the question is what your phos value and nitrates levels are at with it. Do you have an algae issues, if not that works for me.
