    If you are feeding softies, I would try some Kent Iodide. I started dosing small amounts and my softies exploded...JME

    We have experimented with this in the past and didn't see any noticeable color/growth changes in the corals when we were feeding it to them. With that said, we do still use about a quarter of a cap full of reef plus and reef trace in the food mix when we feed the corals, but we just do it to give them some extra nutrients they may not be getting in other foods.

    If you don't have and use test kits for each and every ingredient in a supplement or additive then don't put it in your tanks. Its way too easy to throw asystem out of balance and very hard to correct it. Do regular water changes and use a good salt mix and leave the supplements and additives on the LFS shelf.
