    The person says its new, has all hoses/connections and comes with a UV light and wants $400 for it. Does this sound like a good deal? Is there anyway I could test a chiller on site before buying it? Im a little unsure of why someone would want to sell a new chiller for almost half of what it sells for online.

    Take a pump rated for that chiller along with you, have the guy fill a 5 gal bucket with warm (not hot) water, and then have the input and output of the chiller go in the bucket. After a minute or two the temp should start going down....

    Teco is an Italian company that no longer has any distribution nor support in the US. All support now has to go through Italy. That could be why. Personally I feel it is one of the best chillers ever made. I have a brand new TR20. They used to always display at MACNA and serve margaritas (for those insiders that knew) and lemonade chilled by one of their chillers.
