I had recently bought a Seaclone 100 approx. 2 months ago, at first everything went great. But recently I keep getting a bubble in the bottem of the J tube that I can't get out. I have disasembled the whole thing and restarted only to get the same bubble. I know lots of people have nothing good to say about this skimmer but I hope that there is a small trick I could get it working again instead of buying another brand!! Thanks for the help

One of the problems with the Seaclone is keeping it adjusted. When you have excess air being drawn into the mix, that slows the flow horribly and allows large bubbles to "hang" in the bends and partially block the J-tube.

When the unit is running, you should see a well-formed cyclone in the center of the chamber with roughly an inch of foam at the top. If you're getting a surge in the J tube and frothy clouds floating up in the chamber, you need to trim the air adjuster. That's the only thing I can think of that would allow the bubble as you described it.
