I have been useing a Seaclone 100 for around 8 months now, it takes a little time to tune in, and I have no complants about it. I run my tank like Malachi, Seaclone, Ecosystem 60 hangon Refugium, and carbon when the water starts to look yellow.

Just thought i would mention that i recently posted in the sponsors forum that i have the Aqua-C remora with MJ 1200 on sale for $145 fr 3reef members only. Just PM or E-mail me for details. You will be one unhappy camper if you go with a seaclone. They perform marginal a best.

I am going through internal debate on whether I can afford the Remora or can I afford not to and get something lesser that I eventually be unhappy with. Will the Remora Aqua-C handle an 80gal tank? I know it is rated for up to 75gal.

In my opinion the standard remora is actually good to about 55 gallons. If you want to make sure your 80 has enough i would definately go with the pro.

I would use the best skimmer I could afford and aquaC is one of the best skimmers around. You don't want to skimp on the skimmer IMO.

I just got my Remora from Darin at captivereefs. All I've ever heard about AquaC skimmers has been good stuff. Most all reviews I've read say it is one of the best. So go with the Remora and get it from Darin if you can. You get a 6% discount.
