I know everybody says seaclones are straight up pieces of shi**. But, thats practically all i can afford. So bear with me. My question is pretty straight forward. I am going to have a 55g with my 3" rectangular trigger many of you are familliar with, a 3" niger trigger yet to be purchased, and maybe a yellow coris wrasse. I want to know: If i get a seaclone 100 and cut the riser pipe, do the airstone mod w/ a pretty powerful air pump, do the bio-ball impeller mod, put a better air flow controll valve on it, and do prettymuch every mod you can think of to it, will it be able to support that 55 setup?

Get a coralife 65 about same price--I have a coralife 65 running my 150gal--really pulls out the stuff!!! I work at petco part time and cannot get the seaclone to pull 1/10 of what my coralife pulls. I am sure alot of others will chime in on their brand prefered. This is what works for me..cost was about 120.00--BTW for 13 you really seem to know your stuff---keep up the good work and never stop learning!!!!

Well 125 is considered "gifted" and 150 is technically a genius, and seeing that i was tested to be 148 in 3rd grade, you do the math.
