    Hello i got a new seahorse yesterday and he wont go get the food :cry: he waits for it and doesnt see it but he turns around and eats it.Help me PLease

    you only got him yesterday? I would give him a bit more time to acclimate before he is comfortable eating.

    What species of seahorse.* Many species only accept live foods.

    So make sure your feeding that. Also give some more time to settle in to his new home.

    Are you planning on putting this seahorse in a species tank or are you going to try and keep a clownfish in with it? Seahorses should have their own tank.

    I second that, the only thing I would put in with a horse is slow moving snails to clean up the uneaten food. Fish will dominate horses and leave nothing for them to eat. Also be careful of filters. I had an in-tank skimmer (Aquaticlife 115) and my horses were always too adventurous and curious and kept getting sucked into the intake. This last week they met their maker after one too many trips near it. :cry:
