Is the plane plastic? If so you go to town on it with something like a file or razor blade or some heating element and make it look war torn and crashed. Like bend the propellers back, put bullet holes in the fuselage or even snap a wing in half.

I agree, it'd be sweet to make it look like it crashed. Might be tricky to get right though.

Google dioramas people have done of crashed planes. Some people have far too much time on their hands, follow some of their ideas and you should be ok.

For my 2c, follow a storyline off what happened to the plane and add the details...

    Wait, What.

Model planes, very cool for sure, but through me off big time.

This thread has gone very astray. :cheesy:

Thanks everyone for the idea. yes, the plane is plastic.

I was planning on breaking the left wing off the plane & having the fuselage diagonally front to back of the tank, coming down at an angle & I'll do some cool stuff to it. I'll be sure to post pics when it is in the tank.

    Bullet holes..now that's an idea. :D

Moving tomorrow! :) Just across town... It was sad that my fish died, but ironically that makes it easier to move the tank, as I only have hermit crabs for "livestock". The move should not be difficult at all with an empty tank. I'll be sure to update again when the tank is in the new house.

Congrats on the move, very interested to see what you do to the tank.

Here's a pic of the 29 in it's new location.

I will be going with the 10g sump with the Coralife 65 on the left side. Then the stand will be skinnend to match the cabinet to the right(which will hold my misc. supplies).

Setting the tank back up this weekend.
