    See the overlow box?

I want to build a wall around the box(bottom of tank to top of OF box) so that way I can drill a hole in the back of the tank for WC's. The wall is simply to hide the drain hole. in the "wall" I will have small holes trilled so that water can move freely into that area. The wall will then be painted black & let set dry/empty for probably about a week.

This shows it a little better.

What should I use to create the wall? I was thinking something of plastic?

    Thanks 2in10.

Siphoning the water sucks. Literally. haha. I don't like the taste of saltwater, which somehow always ends up in my mouth(lol) & I hate the "residue" on my skin when I am done. My hands get really dry too. :p So this should solve all that.

How big of a bulkhead is needed for 1" PVC? This is for my WC line.

I already have the drill bit, but it's not at my new house, where the tank & I are.

I like your Idea. Just a thought for you. If you are going to go through this extra work why not do a small closed loop system Or come out of your lower hole and back into a sea swirl? You could possibly eliminate having the need for the extra PH's in the tank. Then you could tee off the return to the tank and actually pump water out of the tank. I wish I would have thought about this before I set my tank up.

Here is a link to what I was referring too.

Actually, I could have just checked GH website, sense(sp?) that's where I got my drill bit. Thanks for the links though. :) ...Figures, F&S Aquatics doesn't have the size bulkhead I need(trying to buy everything from one place). :-/

Money is always my problem. haha I like the idea of a closed loop. I thought about it for my 75g upgrade. That never happened. So now I am back to this tank again. :(
