Here's the difference b/w the two tanks. Both are claimed to be 10 gallons.



The wider one will become the sump after I clean it out & the smaller one will become a 10g planted tank for Dad. It will go in the library.

Plumbing will be glued together today & the sump should be cleaned & baffled tomorrow. Once I find the drill bit I will drill for another bulkhead so I can add in the WC line.

 

Oh yeah, I will be getting a used Coralife 65 today; it should come in the mail sometime next week.

 

I did the major part of the overflow line tonight...it's freezing cold in the garage even with the heater.

Clear PVC Cleaner & all purpose PVC cement.




Sorry for the grainy pictures...I would have thought a 5mp camera on the Droid2 would have been better than a 2mp on my old Samsung Delve. I was wrong.

I think it's time for some hot chocolate!
