    Nice work

Are the tanks from the same manufacturer?

    Crazy size difference.

From your avatar, I thought you were Steve Wright, at first. lol

Tell me about it...probably about a 1/2" difference. I beleve the smaller one is made by tetra. The larger one is the same age as me, so I ave no clue who made it. haha

Thanks, Bobo. They have the same length....look at that. The wider tank is also a 1/2" taller!

My sump tank is actually 11 gallons. :)

    hmm...:-/

I went to the hardware store...they had a bulkhead that I thought might work. It's a 1 & 1/4" bulkhead with an expander(is that what they call it?) to go up to 1" PVC. Then I have a 90 elbow. From there I have a ball valve & some strait PVC that goes to the empty bucket for WC.

My bulkhead hole for WC line was planned to be drilled beneath my OF box so that way I could close it in with a false wall & you wouldn't even notice the OF box or the other hole. I thought my plumbing was going to be tight. Well, it is. It won't work. With the expander(?) piece, the line would stick out to far from the tank, running thorugh(>) the OF line. I need a 1 & 1/2" bulkhead & a threaded elbow to go directly into the bulkhead, or else it won't work.

    I also realized that a 1 & 1/4" b cannot be used in a 1 & 1/2" hole. lol.

This isn't even with the length of the bulkhead...

    Small update...lol.

Went to the LFS today after some Christmas shopping & got some more rock. Well, actually one rock, but it weighs 6 lbs. :) Very cool shape & good size. Probably at least a foot long, 4" tall & 10" wide at largest point.

    Great coral placing corals!
