Looking good. Can't wait to trade some corals when you get to that point.

Me either! :) That would be cool.

I saw that ReefPets has eBay sales on coral pretty often. For pretty cheap too! Check out their board.

Its funny you say that, I just bought my first coral on ebay and online (for that matter) from Reef Pets. See attached picture.

The colors are some what deceiving. In order to produce the color you see in the picture online, your lights must be the same as when the picture was taken. They do alot with lighting (I believe) to enhance these colors. Attached is what it looked like when I first placed it in my tank (last night). Today when I go home, it should be open and looking as good as ever.

Hmm..not so good-looking. lol. For sure, I really like it, but like you said, lighting is everything. It looks like the lighting that ReefPets uses is a 14k radium MH bulb.

Do you have a 10k over your tank?

I was just noticing that ReefPets photos are more blue where yours appear more white.

I believe the blue comes from LEDs. This is copied from there description: -Picture - Taken with a Canon Xsi and Canon 60mm Macro Lens under 400 watt 20K Metal Halides and LED's / No Flash / Not Altered
Pictures shown are the true color of the coral under my lighting...

My acan looks beautiful in my tank even without fancy expensive LEDs (which I really want to get).
