Yeah, blue must be from the LEDs, but also a 20k bulb. That would do it. I am hoping n the next couple weeks to have LEDs over my tank.

    I currently don't have lights.

Once I add in a good CUC my first real inhabitants ill be 2 pacific cleaner shrimp. For fish, it will either be a pinstripe wrasse or a swales swissguard basslet.

Sounds good. Can't wait to see the tank filled up with fish and inverts.

Looking good Seano!! Glad everything is coming together well for you. I'd definitely keep Cree's in mind for your lighting needs. They're awesome!!

Thanks, Nismo. I have been looking into all kinds of LED lighting. I was in a rush to get lights for my tank so I could do my science experiment, but I have changed subjects a bit on that so I could still get the lights I really wanted and not have to worry.

I will be getting 2 of these Orphek PR-25 PAR38 LED Spotlights when they come out in about 1 week or 2. They are dimmable with a controller. As of now my plan is to go with the bulb that has 6 cool white, 4 blue, and 2 UV. But there should be more options than just the 3 I have seen out. I saw Orphek had a thread asking about color combos people may want.

For actinics I am thinking about doing a CREE LED strip.

    Day 29

I did a water change today..I took about 1g and added in 2 new gallons. I need to get some more distilled water from the store.

I tested for Nitrates and ammonia to see where I was at. Ammonia is 0, once again. Nitrates are at 15. They appear to have gone up a bit...telling me I need to get the able rolling and get my skimmer and cuc.
