    It appears the tissue is receding on this faviid I have another faviid that is doing great. So why this one? I just noticed the color turning lighter the other day.
    Now some tissue is gone. :(

    I have it in the tank in medium flow, under medium-high light. (Pictures are out-of tank, under a 3000k lamp for examination)

    Thanks, Bobo. I just spraypainted the eggcrate with Krylon matte black. Once it dries it is aquarium safe.

    Here it is before I painted it (a smaller one on top, already painted).

    The fumes from the pvc cement and super glue are killing me...trying to put this reactor together. :eek:
