    Almost done!

I want to see if I can run it in-line with my overflow down to the sump, or if I have to tee of the return line to go back to the sump.

That looks very nice. Did you make a video of how to make that?

    I didn't, but I will once I am done! :)

Next on the list: rebuild the entire return line from the sump.

At Lowe's getting plumbing parts...I can't find a 1/2" union. A Lowe's employee in the plumbing dpt. comes over to ask if I need some help.

    "Having trouble finding something?"

    Me: "I need a 1/2" union."

He hands me a socket adapter. "Here it is."

Me: "No, not that, a union. You know, to join two pieces together and then disconnect them again?"

    "What do you mean?"

Me: "A union? It's like the socket adapter, but with three parts and the middle is like a nut? It unscrews?"

    Man stands clueless-ly.

Me: "I saw them earlier in larger size. I just don't see them in the half inch diameter."

    "Oh."

About 30 seconds later I look at the larger diameter plumbing to see if I can find the unions again. I make note that they were all together in the same area, instead of each size being with the corresponding plumbing sizes.

Employee: "Oh look, here they are."

Me: "Yeah, thanks, I wasn't sure..."
