    Ah...I don't really feed it. I just let the algae be, as it doesn't really get out of control. I figure it's food for the snails/crabs. I haven't fed in a few months.

    WEll the good thing is, my froggy I'm fragging for you tomorrow HATES a clean tank, so it should be a good test for you! If i run my skimmer for a solid week it shrivels up, if I turn it off here and there it blows back up.
