Looking good. Any reason you are keeping the water level low? I haven't read all 39 pages of your thread so sorry if you've mentioned it already. Just wondering.

That question comes up pretty often actually - you're not the first to ask lol. But I don't believe it has come up in this thread.

    1. Dad's overly cautious and thinks I will overflow the tank if I have it filled all the way.
    2. I recently noticed I need to fix my bulkhead fitting as it appears to have leaked. I can fix it just by applying silicone to the "O" rings.

As soon as I get the return pump I will fill the tank all the way - like it should be. :p

Always better to be safe than sorry, that's for sure. I may have to nix my 29g build and go for a 20 long(already have one from the petco sale). The 29 is just too tall for where I want to put it. I may be able to work something out though.

Thanks, Heidi! With no lights for coral yet...I am thinking about maybe going to my LFS to get a fish next week. :)

How much would a pair of pink skunk clowns cost? LA has them (tank bred) for $20 ea. If I got two small clowns from a LFS, I wouldn't have aggression problems would I?
