    Man, I'm pumped! haha.

We went to Columbus today to visit my gma and that's how I was able to go to the fish store. I wasn't able to get to Lowe's today and I will be visiting my sister(lives on her own) tomorrow. I'm hoping to go to Lowe's in the morning or evening to get lumber as well as PVC for the OF/return lines.

Yes, I love anthias. :) My bro wants a tang; I like the Yellow Eye Kole(also the one of few suitable for a 75g), so we decided on that too.

I don't usually buy from them. They are fairly pricey. I bought from them just twice before, but I have fun going in there just to look. :)

    A small update about lighting....

The Orphek lights are estimated to be released towards the end of this month, early March. Keep a look out!

t will be 60 degree "frosted" (multifaceted - increases spread and uniformity) optics, and as per usual, designed by a specialized optics company so that less energy is lost from surface refraction.

Designed to be more of a 70-150w MH pendant replacement, than a spotlight, 60* "forsted" optics will be used on the LEDs. Orphek says witht he power of the LEDs in these bulbs, any lower(smaller number...i.e. 40*) would kill coral with the intensity of light output.

"Frosted" 60* optics are what will be available(supposed better spread/uniformity) opposed to the 40, 60, 90 most companies give you choice between.

...Should be available through retailers world-wide and should work on voltage b/w 110 & 240v.

diodes being used, a 40 degree was asking to kill coral, and instead of offering a 60 and 90 degree option, we opted for the 'frosted' 60 and one can always increase the mounting height for increased coverage.

-90 lb aragonite. I got the sugar-sized again. ::) lol.
    -A protein skimmer...something I've never had before...haha
-Not pictured, is the filter sock(and tank mount) for the skimmer section, as well as about 5 lb of lace dry rock.

I decided to snag a Coralife 125 form the fish store I got my tank from. I was there anyway so Dad asked what else we needed to buy. I was going to go with the Eshopps psk 150, but I think this should preform well.

For any of you wondering, half way into this build so far, we have spent about $500, but saved $100(10% off membership for the fish store I went to).

    Yes! lol.

As soon as we get the wood(never did that yet...) and put the stand together I will be switching tanks over. 1)I will put the water/rocks in buckets. 2)Set up the big tank on the new tank stand. 3)29g + 10 will go in the stand, then scape and put sand in. 4)Refill.
