Hey, thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying the build. It's going slow, but I'm almost to the finish. :)

Leak testing the sump right now. Tomorrow I will run the return line and should have the sump up and running.

Anyone know where I can get a new bulkhead fitting, locally?

This is what happens when you take channel locks to pvc.

^That bulkhead an street ell are threaded...covered in salt I guess. Ugh. Lowe's didn't seem to carry the bulkhead either.

Return line...I ended up having to put a union at the bottom by the pump (in picture) so it would fit through the hole in the back of my cabinet.

and here's the sump. With that CPR filter sock...I take two shapr turns in the overflow line. You can see the first on in this picture.

The second turn is right at the back of the stand. I have a union between the two turns in order to be able to take it apart later. But of course with those unions, the overflow currently sticks out too far from the tank. I just replaced the threaded ell at the top of my return line with a slip; I will need to buy a slip/threaded adapter in order to reach the bulkhead (you can see in the pictures that the overflow line is not parallel to the tank.

Here is the return line dry-fitted. Should be just fine once I get a 3/4" ell to hook it on the tank rim.

This last shot is of all the plumbing and power cords running down the back of the tank.

I think I might just take the back wall of the cabinet off. I don't know. ugh. :( That will give me more room o work inside the stand (front-to-back) and plumbing should be ok then. But I don't know how difficult it will be to get back there with a drill...I know if can move the tank a few inches...I did it before. lol.

Return line finished. Overflow line finished (except for bulkhead). I will probably do glue-up tomorrow.
