    2 of the silver heatsink ones, for $100 total. They will be 3 blue, 2 white diodes.

    I would like to get a third if he has a 40* optic for the middle of my tank.

    Sean, have you seen the new Ecoxotic tricolor PAR38? They have red LEDs in them and are built to bring out full color. I'd get one of those, hang it maybe 11" of the water and 2 of the bluer PAR30s with wider optics to balance it out.

    red brings out color? i thought red wave lengths just promoted algae and possibly brown outs from SPS.
