    Long thread! I may have missed something, and I'm sure this has already been said.

    I think you may have got hosed when you bought your tank. Looks more like a 30 than a 75. What are the dimensions of it?

    Yes, they told me it was a 75. I measured and it seems to be short by about a foot or so. :-/ Did I get scammed?

    Sounds like it might be. Perhaps the same length as a 30 but wider. I can't tell the width very well from the pictures I saw.
