OK, getting ready for college (I think I've finally decided where I want to go, btw)... here's what's on the agenda.

We are going to purchase a refurbished SpectraPure RODI unit sometime in the next few months. I am not sure exactly when this will be yet. But it will save money long term (about $300 yearly) and we won't have to lug bottled water from the store anymore (unless I set up a nano at school).

ATO - I got this all set up, but then realized my bulkheads for the water and air lines to sump are metric (which is too small). I will have to buy an airline valve to use the fittings on it as new bulkheads for the ato bucket.

2 part dosing - I want to get more into SPS, but I have noticed a decrease in calcium level since the addition of the few I currently have (from 450ppm in December, to the recent test of 400ppm). I do not have test kits for magnesium or alkalinity and I know I will need to get these soon, in order to keep track of dosing regimen, and also for the sake of knowing my params.

I have not yet set up my biopellet reactor, as I still need to get some parts at Lowe's. But I have not forgotten.

A new cabinet. I want to build a new one to replace the horrid thing I have now. I am in need of more space within the cabinet and would also like to hide the plumbing. It will be white, made of 3/4" hardwood ply. I am not sure if I will go with the design previously posted, or a DIY ADA-style cabinet.

That will depend how busy I am...and the amount of space I have available.

I will most like be going to Columbus Collge of Art and Design. They keep you very busy there, so I am not sure how much time I will have.

I like picos. But DIY nanos are fun too and I have plans for a diy nano build. The dorms are small so if I have to be in the dorm I will set up a zoa garden pico (easy/simple to care for, and forgiving), in which case, the diy nano build would wait.

If I can get into the upper class apartments then I might have space for a nano tank and I wouldn't have to take it down for the school breaks.

I was thinking either a 3g glass pico bowl or an AIO 13g reef (53" L x 9" W x 7" H). I'm trying not to give too much away. I need to leave some for the tank build. :p

Lol. A 53" 13 gallon?!?! Geez that thing would be skinny!!!

An AIO rimless with back chambers would be sweet.

Or a small nanocube or biocube.

Rimless, of course. :D You will see my plans more when they come together. I am going to build the tank myself. The actual display will be approx. 48".

I already drew it in Google Sketchup, but you won't see it unless I actually go through with the build. :)
