    Today is Moving Day

I'll be moving the tank back to my dad's house today. Right now the plan is to put about 30% of the water and take it with me (*crosses fingers Dad brings a bucket*). The live rock will also go in here.

For the sand, I am thinking I will keep it wet, but in the tank while moving.

I just got home and the car is unloaded. Finally. I removed the top frame of the tank. Won't be removing the bottom one.

I don't have a place to put the tank right this moment. Will the rock be OK in the bucket overnight? And sand in the tank overnight (wet but not much water in it)?

All should be fine it kept wet. Run a pump to circulate the water in the rock bucket.

I would put the rock in the bucket and cover it with saltwater from your tank. That way you won't have any die-off. The same goes with the sand. Then I would run a pump to circulate the water.

I put a pump in the bucket with water. There isn't enough water in the tank for a pump. it's about 1/2" above the sand.

Probably will be OK. Run pumps for a while in the tank before adding critters and all should be well.

Once I get rock and water in the 10g I was going to add a pump in there again and wait a week before adding coral.

Hopefully building a cute little cabinet this week. :)
