    20 Nitrates. I did a water change and was able to get this down to about 15...will be doing another WC tomorrow.

    Hydor is shipping out parts this week to fix my powerheads.


    I didn't realize their customer service wasn't open on weekends.

    Ok, I did a 6 gallon water change while I had the chance (as crabs/snails aren't negatively affected by such drastic changes). The corals aren't in this tank yet, but the plan is to have them in here on Sunday, or Monday at the latest.

    I forgot to buy spray paint for the hanging unit for the light pendants, so I hope to do that tomorrow (Sunday).

    I took a powerhead from my 29 and switched it out for the pump that was giving me troubles. So I will just use the replacement parts to fix what will be a spare pump.

    Despite the poll results at the top of this thread, I still can't decide whether I like the clear stain finish, or the white satin paint. lol...the white looks sleek, but the wood stain will better match the bookshelves in the house.

    Those look like red sea test kits, by far best liquid test kit, IMHO.
