Go Sabres!! bouncing back this year to at least make the playoffs. Hockey is by far the best sport and its the one thing Buffalo has going for it. Huge hockey community

vive les habitants. 4-3 shootout winner. but the shoot out is such a waste of time. and i guess 4-3 in football could be 28-21 , thats high scoring.

and now at work watching blackhawks and panthers playing in finland. 2-2 in the 3rd

Lost to the habs last night in the shootout.

I think Mike Komisarek is a double agent. Playing against his former team, takes 15 minutes in penalties, and both of the Canadiens power play goals were on Mike Komisarek (former Canadien) penalties.

With a 4 year playoff drought ... I'm finally happy with the way the leafs are playing.

They may have lost, but the team showed promise last night ... can't wait for the rest of the season to get underway.

    Go LEAFS Go!!

And Pack, the heatley deal will be a good thing for the sharks. I don't like heatley all that much, but playing with a set up man like Joe Thornton ... Heatley will score 50 again this year (or 350 if your a football fan)

Hopefully! He looked like he belonged in the minors last night though, just played awful. A -3 and no shots on net. I liked the Malhotra deal and getting rid of Errorhoff as well.
I am still worried about coaching though. And I think that Blake as captain was a piss-poor move as well. The biggest problem they have always seemed to have is motivation. They need someone who will stand up and start yelling at the team when need be. I loved JR for that.

Heatley will snap back, he's gone through a lot of changes in the last month.

Blake as Captain is a bad idea ... but really, who else fits the role. Thornton is great, but he's a *****cat. Heatley ... well is Heatley.

I'm just glad we stole your head coach. Ron Wilson is the man ... hopefully he can do for our defence what he did for yours.

You can have Toskala back if you'd like though ... he really hasn't played like starting goaltender since his days in SJ.

I'm sure Burke would be happy to take Nabby off your hands lol.

I will take Toskala over Wilson any day. THE worse head coach in Sharks history. I still don't think they cleaned his fanny print off the front door. Although he did great coaching last season. Oh wait, that's right... ;D

And Thronton is far from a *****cat. Remember, he usually gets over 200 PIM's a season ;) He just has been told by management they need him on the ice. Which I think stinks. He plays better when he plays angry.
Captaincy should have went to Boyle.

Im sure you wont be dealing with Toskala all season. I dont think Burke wants him. Hes probably hoping Gustavsson will be ready to start at some point in this year. Hes def getting paid so he will play eventually.
