    If there were a cost effective, LED that would support a reef by itself, I'd buy it. If not then I won't...unless a strip meant solely for supplemental lighting.


    Though I should point out that IMO I'm sure it would be great for any FOWLR.

    Some new pics!

    We finally got the office tank up and running! I put one of our 48" units on top and took some pictures, you'll find them below.

    Notice that there are no dark areas on the ends. This is a 48" unit with 24 LEDs on a 48" tank.

    Once the tank cycles we'll be adding some inverts; right now it's just live rock and kind of boring.
