So, I've always been a fan of the seaswirl, but they are expensive and don't look like a product worth that much money. I've seen one that a friend has that the whole inside was rusted because the seal went bad after a while. I asked him about it and he showed me the parts from his other one that broke... He was not pleased with it, but still uses it as it's a nice way to add some different water movement.

I am really tempted to get one of these and see how they work. Anyone else seen/grabbed one?

What I don't like is the extra bulk it would add to the top of the tank. Getting into a rimless, I want to show off that clean rim, and this would be a big old blue wart on the back of the tank. So, I'm just throwing this out here to see if anyone else has one of these or whatnot.

Can't hard plumb your return into this like you can on the seaswirl. If I ever used one, it would be with my return. Putting s power head on that thing looks ridiculous. It would stick halfway across your tank.

    Big eye sore, IMO.

You're right, I kinda forgot about the ones that had the line plumbed in. Seaswirl makes a variety like this as well, that's what I was thinking of when I saw this.

Yeah, that's my biggest concern, is how much room will this actually take up in the tank.
