Jumped the gun. Still an issue. As soon as I turn it right side up it flips. Its foot will not plant.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes I knew it was upside down.

They problem as you know now is that it is not footing, most likely from some type of stress. They are difficult anemones to get acclimated.

Usually moving them around just componds the problem. Some would suggest an area of hardly any flow, placing it in a depression in the sand right sideup. I have heard of placing something over them like a strawberry basket and hoping they foot. I have never tried any of these interventions.

Well it's in a very low flow area. I dug a whole in the substrate and place it right side up. Then place sand all around the anemone. Seems to be working so far. Lights just shut off for the night.

Woke up this morning to see the anemone was still in the same place since the lights went out. May have worked? Will post an update when I get home from work.

Doing much better. Is in the back corner same spot as I originally dropped it. Digging a hole helped quite a bit. If it decides to move, I'll let everyone know. [IMG]

your tank is too young for an anemone, wait a year at least before thinking of introducing one, also when i get an anemone i have the no tough period, where i dont touch it or relocate it for several months. it works great, just let it do its thing unless it looks like its dead then take it out.
