Ghost, your seabee looks strong. Mine took 2-3 weeks to get its pinkish color and it did so in stages. One half or so was pink before the other. Seabees prefer small foods like brine, mysis, and krill are good but make sure it's only about three defrosted krill a 2-3 times a week. Mine loves mysis, but it took some time to adjust and begin to eat.

I see that your substrate is closer to peagravel and not sand. Seabees prefer a sand substrate but he might be able to dig down into the gravel and attach. However, they definitely don't like rock. Seabees are movers when they are uncomfortable so watch him, let him find a spot and make sure it's not a powerhead. -Best regards

Yeah man, my substrate is crushed coral. I know now it was a bad move but it is way to late in the game to change. I might dig out the place in the middle and go with some sand. I would change the substrate out but look at the loss and the time it would take for it to mature and then there might be some killer spikes in the change. I am thinking about a bigger tank and then I can go sand. But right now this is the deal.My first one I had stayed on a rock, but he died for lack of light. Hopefully he will get comfy somewhere and call it home. He has been in the same area for about a week now. Guess we will just wait and see. I wonder what it would take to switch out to sand.

Anyone had any luck feeding cyclopeeze to sebae anemones?

I used a turkey baster to target feed some cyclopeeze to it, and it opened it's mouth, took some, then closed it back up. Was very cool to watch.

Just wanted to confirm that that food is ok for them?
