My sebae nem was doing really well.. I did a water change and traded off one of the clowns that was hosting it (which was too large, you can see them both in my avatar) and it shriveled down to nothing. It is still FIRMLY attached, just shriveled quite badly. I still have a small clown hosting it well.
My previous LTA did the same thing but just for a day. This has been several days. I target fed it some shrimp today and it didnt seem to move.

The water params are actually better than when I put him in.
My PH went up a little but my nitrates came down significantly.

    Current params:
    PH 8.4 (was 8.2)
    Amm 0
    Nitrite 0
    Nitrates 5 (was around 30)
    Temp 80

Is this PH level okay or is it a sign the nem is failing?

Should I lower the temp a bit? I am going based off the setting on my heater. I do not have a way to test the water temp right now.

Just worried he is going to crash and take out my tank.. I love him when he is fully out and healthy.

i would get a thermometer. even the stick on ones are better than nothing, your tank could be much higher in temp. The stick on ones are like $2

Tank is about 10 months old... has never had any problems.
I believe it is just shriveled up but is fine. I have had nems before just not a sebae. got rid of my long tentacles because they outgrew the tank lol. When fully spread the LTA was like 7 or so inches in diameter.
I moved a little bit of rock around and changed the position of the lights a bit (it attached itself in an odd spot) and it seems to be filling up again. It is firmly attached and hasnt moved since I put it in the tank.
I believe it is okay. I definately need a temperate monitor though.

While watching the sebae fluff up I spotted my bristle worm.. he is about 9 or 10 inches long now! Holy crap.. it is about time to get him out

EDIT ohhh yeah AC is on...

I found this awesome site on Anemones...
She has bubble tips but I am sure it applies to any anemone....

Caring for these beautiful creatures - INTRODUCTION

She highly recommends feeding with silverfish...
So when I was out I got some...

    :grinthumbs:
I have never seen her ( I am assuming ?!?!) move that quick - Very Hungry I guess !
It was incredible watching her devour the piece of fish!
My anemone puffed up beautifully soon after !
    Sign of satisfaction !

Very informative site - Recommend checking it out!
