I know this is a complete newbie question, but what is the best way to attach rock to each other. Im not a big fan of the zip tie idea...i think that could end up looking bad. Is there any type of reef safe epoxy/glue etc, that can be used. Im going to be placing at least 150 lb of rock in my tank and don't want any future disasters after it is set the way i want.

Give the aquascape a wiggle test and if it's weak, apply an epoxy like "hold fast" by instant ocean. I use it an like the results.

i was researching how to glue frags,,i think this wouldwork just as good for glueing lr together.Super glue gel, I prefer Loctite brand to any others, but it must be the gel kind and have Cyanoacrylate as the active ingredient.

you dont need the big killer zip ties the cops use. You can find some really small & subtle ones at the radio shack for example. If you watch the placement as you set the tank up you can mitiagate thier visibility alot. Plus once the coralline sets in and covers them over it wont make a difference.

I used some 2 part reef epoxy on some of mine that was suposedly 'coralline color'. The tank I used it in has been set up nearly a year & they stuff still doesnt color match & sticks out in a couple places.

That's why I use super glue gel. Once is dries its surface isn't really smooth, a lot of times it's sort of porous and algae gets in it and colors up nicely.

I use the grey epoxy. You can also drill holes in the rock and use acrylic rods to keep it in place.
