how do you get turf algae to grow on the screen?
i built a turf algae filters for my tank and i didnot see
how to get it started, does it just grow or do you have to seed it.
is there a way to make it grow faster?

Can you leave the lights on 24/7 or does it have to have a break?
is there a good amount of light 8,10,12 hrs that is best for these things?

not for this, the goal is pure continuous growth, the algae doesn't need a rest period for that and you will be harvesting it long before that will ever become a problem.

don't, they each have their own benefits. If you must do one or the other then do the fuge, if possible do both.
