Im getting ready to order, but I still cannot decide between the 2, the SEio pumps look to be smaller than the koralias, but I have never seen the seios in public

Go Koralia. You cant go wrong. I have the SEIO 2600 and they look like an upside down tunze. Plus its bulky. JM2C.

The Koralia Evolutions are much smaller than a Seio.

 wow, the Evolutions are massive... The Koralias don't seem to last long either. I keep having to replace them. I turn them off to do something, then turn back on and they don't start. If I notice, it's okay, I can clean them, but if I don't notice, and forget to check, they burn out. Even with regular cleaning, the rate of restart dosn't seem that great though. Most of the stuff in this hobby is cheap junk, so, I am not sure if the Seios would be better. I haven't used them. Probably not...

I had this problem about a week or so ago. But I had just cleaned the three koralia nano pumps and put them in the tank. One started right up. The other two didn't. What did I do? I unplugged the two problem pumps, took off the housing and took out impeller. Then I put the back together and plugged them in. They worked.

I have two Koralia Evolutions 1400's that have been switching on and off every 30 seconds since March 2010, thats well over 1MILLION starts and stops!
The covers were replaced once under warranty and they have been floawless otherwise.

Here are some photos of the old Koralia K series, the new Evolution series and a Sicce Voyager, the Evos are the smallest powerhead you can buy today. I sold the old Seios a couple years ago so don't have pictures but they were about twice as big.
