Seio Prop 530 Help

The only use I can see for the air tube on these prop pumps is to put an air line on and and attach it to the u tube of a HOB overflow to ensure the siphon is not broken. Other than that, that air vent is pretty useless.


I have one of these seio 530 prop pumps. I bought it right when they came out. It stopped working and numerous attempts to clean it and reassemble has not allowed it to function. It's a nice idea, especially since they come with magnets, but now all it is good for is the magnets.

 

yes i have the `1500 and it is the loudest pump ive ever heard so i bought the evo1400s so much better.

 

I have 1 of those. It works fine, has been running for about 6 months. Don't use the air tube, just the pump.
