Well, I gotta say, I appreciate your taking the advice to heart and not getting mad. I am a little harsh to you, but it seems to be the only way to get you to listen....you are a good sport ;D

As a person who has worn many hats in the pet world I see something very disturbing here. Hottie your profile says you are 18 and give a year maybe two that puts you between 18 and 20. You have had "many pets" how many do you still have and how many have left your care alive and healthy? At 20 years old how many of these pets did you actually own and care for? How many were really your parents and you only had to pay minimum attention to? Another concern is the people you are seeking advice about sugar gliders how many have told you the ease of care just because they are trying to sell you something? It seems from your posts that getting pets and getting rid of pets comes easy to you, how about keeping the reef saving the money for the gliders and earning the pets you have or want and then they may have real value to you. Instead of free pets that seem disposable to you. If you are looking for cute buy beanie babies, if you are looking for company get out of the house and meet people and if you are looking for pets maybe volunteer to work for some sorta rescue/breeder/pet store and work with pets in someone elses environment until you see personalities and the work involved it would be better for the animals and yourself.

    Well said Phil5613.
After looking at his profile I to noticed that he is only 18 and his statement about having many pets disturbed me as well. I wonder if he still lives with his parents and is so what they think of the idea of getting sugar gliders? I am also curious to know what other pets he has had besides the reef tank that he got bored of.

    Kind of like a squirrel-mouse-opossum-raccoon thing. :smartass1

Honestly, if this guy would have just said, "Selling all my reef stuff. End of story," and left it at that, he could have saved himself all this debate about his poor animal husbandry.

    :tongue3:

well Phil, yes i am 18, so what, i have had lots of pets and yes some have died, that cuz i was really young but most i have sold alive...I cared for all of them except for my cats...and i've had fish, snakes, geckos, cats, rabbits, mice, hampsters, birds, insects and scorpians..and no they havent' just told me the ease of care just to sell me something..cuz i get my advice from a forum just like this one...and so they are just helping me not trying to sell me something for ur information...no im not gonna keep my reef cuz i wouldn't have time to take care of both..i have tried all kinds of pets to kind of find the best fit, but i do luv fish too..but i would luv a sugar glider, they make good pets also...and ya except for one thing, Beanie Babies can't cuddle wit u or lick ur fingers or any of that stuff..so if u don't wanna get a sugar glider then that's ur opinion..i am an understanding guy and i listen to the mostly good advice that people give but u guys shouldn't just be picking on me cuz i am young...i am a smart guy u kno...well thanx for all ur guys help

Maybe if you stopped dropping the last letter off of all your words, they'd have more respect for all you've 'learned' ;)
