Check out this design. I have been using it for some time to keep a tank of brine shrimp going. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Goal is to keep it simple. I dont want to have a basement style grow op.

Looks pretty good, but I've never done it, just read about it. Keep researching and hopefully someone with experience will chime in.

Personally I would never allow my hatching water to contact my tank water. It is well known that BS cysts can harbour harmful bacteria that at times, could wreak havoc in your system to the point that it's possible you could loose a lot, or all, of your livestock.
Check the notes on Brine Shrimp Direct.
As the BBS consume the egg sack, they lack proper nutrition that I would want to feed my tanks, and to feed them with that set up would mean the aging food would also overflow into the tank.
I have been growing brine shrimp to adult for about 10 yrs, and always advise my customers to rinse in freshwater before placing them in the tank. That goes for newborn through to adult brine shrimp.
For your method, it's best to use decapped hatching cysts.
(there are non hatching cysts also sold for adding to the tanks, an excellent form as the egg sack is intact)
I found feeding rotifers to my tanks to be much more beneficial than feeding BBS.
