Ok Been doing some research as usual but wanted to ask the forum. I have a 24g Nano reef tank. Just have a Clown Goby in there now. I want to get 2 clowns Not sure what kind to get. I want something that is awesome to look at with a lot of personality. Was looking at the Semi Picasso or a True Perc.. Tank is small so don't want anything to to big so going to get some that are young. I am totally open so let me know what you guys think. What is the best pair of clowns to get.. I am hoping to get them to host when I get something they can host in but who knows.. Thanks everyone

Most of the percs and ocelaris will have similar care levels. you should just check them all out, factor in cost and choose the one that best suites you. Snowcassos and black phantoms are my favorites.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like the B/W misbars. Next pair I am getting will be a pair of pink skunk clowns. But picassos are my favorite.

Maroons, the female gets big and mean, but other wise a great clown

Tomato, just big and mean in my book.

You can also get different grade picassos on liveaquaria, sometimes they have some nice pairs.

Ok just checked out that site and they are awesome. I didn't want to invest that much in a fish but I may just have to since they will be the only fish in the tank. They look so cool. My LFS has some picasso clowns I was in sticker shock when I saw them so maybe I will re consider
Thanks I am leaning towards the Snowcassos

Thanks again Corailine... You always give great advice. I have enjoyed reading your posts.. My LFS advised me to stay away from Maroons.. He had a colorful word for them.. LOL.. As stated above I think I am leaning towards a Snowcasso clown.. We shall see.. I am getting itchy to pull the trigger...
