Sent me wrong bulbs!

i ordered 4 bulbs from aquacave last week and they came in today. My order was 2x superactinics UVL brand and 2xActinicwhite UVL brand.

And this is what they sent me, the 2x UVL superactinics and (the mess up) 2x Giesemenn Power chrome Aqua blue + 15k i think... what should i do??? can i just run this bulb combo?? I was told by Tangster to get the superactinics and the actinicwhites UVL brand so i did..... any input??

 

I would contact aquacave...

 

Don't know much about the combo, but giesemenn are pretty good...

 

I will, would you not run the aquablue plus bulbs, from what i hear they will be just as good but a bit of a bluer look.

 

ya the aquablue+ is 11k more white then my original order 12k errrr im not to happy.

 

ok just got off phone with aquacave rep,(seemed pretty smart) he told me they were out of UVL 12ks and they sent me the "better" giesemenn 15k bulbs. he told be these were a more broad spectrum and they wouldnt look as pink as the UVL actinicwhites.

 

Crappy that you had to call to find out. They should have let you know before they shipped so you at least had some say in the matter. Poor customer service in my opinion

What do they consider "better"? UVL's will give you much better PAR values.
It will be slightly bluer than your original combo

 

very poor service, why wouldnt they call me, o well i installed the bulbs and i love the way it looks. not that big of a deal just kinda crappy. im happy.
