    Hi all,

When setting live rock in a tank, is it okay to set it up to and leaning a bit on the back glass wall of the tank? I have it sort of in the middle right now and it doesn't look like there is a whole lot of room when looking it from the front.

I think most people lean on the back glass, hard not too. Just make sure it is stable and if you are going to have gobies some people put egg crate down so that the fish cannot dig underneath and take away the stability of your placement. Just remember if the rocks tumble forward it could cause glass to break and your worse nightmare to appear.

    Good luck!

Funny Guy, huh... LOL get it? No pics yet. Just got tank up yesterday; 75 gallon tank, 90 lbs live rock and 80 lbs live sand, thanks to this great guy in suburbs of IL, Chris Frait, aka "The Aquarium Dude". Still so cloudy that you can barely see the rock. Will get some pics up next week I hope. Hopefully levels will be okay by the weekend to add a couple of clarkiis or some chromis. Take care.

was this tank already setup? if not, you will want to wait before adding fish, it has to cycle first. for that i would suggest using a raw shrimp to get the bacteria kick started. good luck jr.
