well i decided to take out my clowns tonight. I dont want to risk my other fish.

so im taking some sand off my 150G tank, and some rock. ill take a small mechanical filter i have saved, take my old lights from my 29G and set up a FOWLR. in less than 2 hours.
ill use an extra powerhead that i have if it still works or ill just take one from my tank.
will that be ok? ill be transfering my clowns today too. will that be ok? Im taking most of the water from my 150G, and doing something like water change.

Do your clowns have ich? i probably missed another thread. how much sand are you moving over? i have heard that stirring up the sand too much can start a cycle. i would imagine moving over too much dirty sand could do the same.

for your HT, yes that will work fine. just need something basic to nurse them back to health. and everything listed there is what you need, and youve got a good plan of attack. i wish you the best of luck elwes.

I'd go bare bottom for a HT or QT and just use LR rubble...sand is a PITA to have to clean out.

now there is like a pink water drop looking thing on my fish.. i thought it was moving but its not. its just like pulsating.. that could be caused by the fish swimming.. still gross...

then i took a look at my blonde naso and it has ich.. ( if its ich im ok with it because he can fight that off but if its this other crap im really worried it might spread)... ugh im at the verge of tears right now.. if two 28 dollar fish kill my entire tank i swear ill break it into billion pieces and forget about it.. maybe ill just keep my 29g.. ugh.. :(....
