So I am still fine tuning my new main tank setup and just purchased a 10 gallon tank with a heater and bio wheel filter. Is this all I really need to quarantine new fish for a coulple/few weeks? I know that with corals I will need to install a light. Give me your suggestions.

Thats what I did in the beginning with my 20 gallon tank. When I upgraded to my 65 gallon I took the bio wheel and water and basically did a big water change. Then I filled the tank up with water from my display tank. I have a chromis in there now keeping the bacteria alive.

It's also a good idea to throw in some pieces of PVC for a place for the fish to hide.

What about a small piece of live Fiji live rock and some dry rock which I created a little cavern/hideout for the juvenile fish?
