I am a newbie that's not a newbie. I have had plenty of experience with tanks.

I've had turtles, FW, Cichlids, Reef but I am not setting up a 20g FOWLR and need some advice on filtration on a budget.

What is the best hang on filtration that I could have for FOWLR?

I'm planning on 2 clowns, blenny, hermits, shrimp, and snails...not sure if I can fit another small fish.

    thnx

I think a good protein skimmer like the one suggested is the best way to go. There are other hang-ons available that may be a little cheaper. I'll let others chime in on possibly some other models. I have a reef octopus and really like it. It does a good job and has been very reliable.
