    Hey All,

Can you guys/girls tell me how you set up your ATO? I have a Tunze system and was wondering how I would be able to set this bad boy up.

    Thanks

When setting it up, can you use a tontainer or a tank? Are there various ways of doing this??

    I'd say a tank is a container...

It doesn't really matter if you use your DT or your Sump for the sensors...

lol. im talking more like a container (plastic storage bin). And for the placement of the sensors where would you put them in the sump? and in the Tank?

a container is a container dude. I assume you're referring to the reservoir?

I personally use a BRUTE storage bin for my reservoir that I keep 4 gallons in (so it can't overflow my DT).

You put it at the water line. Sense that is what it is sensing.

I would recommend setting up with a couple of pitchers/ containers/pots/pans whatever and get used to how it works, what happens when you unplug it and plug it back in, when both sensors are in various states. Try setting it up and taking a cup of water out and watch it fill the pitcher back up etc. Just play with it.

That's my recommendation anyway, it's a pretty simple device once you understand it but there is no amount of explanation that will make it make sense entirely and it will depend on your exact setup what works best for you. Also, make sure once you put it on your tank that you do a full power outage test, unplug everything or trip the breaker and then turn it back on and watch what happens and make sure nothing goes haywire.

I would put the level sensor on the return side of your sump since that is where the water level will change.

You can use anything that holds water...
