    I have a friend who has tangs, triggers, puffers, large angels and lions mixed together with no problems. However, that's in a 300g tank. Not sure how any two of those species would get along in a 120g once they mature.

    Certain species of triggers would be fine and are not TOO mean. I would not suggest it though. Unless you are going with an aggressive tank it will really limit your choices in the future. The set up is a steal IMHO. Good luck!

    Thank you for the info. I love triggers, but I'll just stick with the tang. I grabbed the 120. Now for sand and live rock after putting together the sump/fuge.

    Good move. As I've written many other times, the standard 120 is my favorite overall tank for a reef and a great size to start with if you can afford it.

    Sounds like you got a great deal on it.
