alright guys, i'm gonna pick at your brains a little... first and foremost, is there such thing as "fluoroscent coralline"? if not, then what's on my LR? i've got several small patches of superbright blue/green "stuff"... it looks like coralline, but i've never seen any this color... also, i've got some dark reddish/purple hairy stuff growing on my biggest and best piece of rock (its got the most coralline growing on it, bright purples and greens)... AWW MOTHER FLUBBER!!!!! i went to do a quick check and found out that i have another aiptasia! anyway, back to my questions... this dark red/purple stuff, i don't think its hair algae, but i'm not sure... i really like the way it looks though... its short, but looks like it may branch off, more like some sort of plant..should i still try to get rid of it? speaking of plants, i also found one or two leaves starting to grow... it may be the beginnings of bubble algae (since what i know is bubble algae is definately getting worse), but its really too small to tell what it is.. but as i said, it just looks like a real tiny leaf...

The reddish stuff sounds like cyano, looks cool, but it means you have high DOM. The leaf stuff is not bubble algae, bubble algae is a bubble. The leaf stuff is either calapera of some sort or halimeda most likely.
