Sexy

i want to make a big addition to my tank i was looking into sexy shrimp they seem pretty cool and i also read that live form a relationship with either rock anemones and flower anemones i wasn't sure which it is or if its either i also want to know is it hard to keep them

 

I wanted one until I seen how small they are..

 

They are best if housed in a refugium, in my opinion due to their small size!
Rock Flower Anemone (Epicystis crucifer)
Rock is synonymous with flower anemones, I believe.

 

We have one, he lives on a piece of xenia. I have a small tank though and won't be adding any fish that are big enough to eat him. The emerald crab seems to prefer dead raw meat (frozen mysis) to chasing the sexy around the tank, although he did chase the sexy for about 30 minutes he leaves him alone now. I figured as long as he is happy! We'll eventually add an anemone (when the tank is old enough) but we had some xenia and zoas on the live rock and the shrimp loves both.

 

you'll be very lucky to find them as low as $16 and their so small you'll need a dozen before you notice them.so keep money in mind
