Hey guys they all lived! And you guys were right. the power came back on about an 1 1/2 before i made it home and it was getting pretty warm in there because of the lights. But the superwrap of sleeping bags must have worked everything seems ok. Fish are ok. I did get one jug of hot water floating in the tank.

I think I would recommend the sleeping bags to others. I would just add make sure you turn off the stuff that would cause "bad" heat when it powers back on.

Again thanks everyone! You guys always come to the rescue. I am starting to wonder what the ballance of joy of swimming fishes with the panic everytime something goes wrong.

And its hard, because people just dont get it when you tell them your worried about your fish. They just think your crazy.

Was toying with idea of using one or two of these during blackouts...Simple, but would have to be around to monitor temp.

If already did not have generator and gas heat...would definitely look into.
