Well needed to make new fish food today and went to local food mart and got some ingredients and saw a new product ive never seen. Curious to me its called shad roe and its a easter cold water salt fish that travels into the chesapeake bay to spawn. Its a seasonal fish only in the spring. Well I went ahead and got 2 small ones (gd things totalled 8 bucks) Ive heard others use roe in there homemade foods but was curious have any others used this. Recipe is as follows and will blend it all really soon

    Cyclopeeze
    4 shrimp
    2 crab legs
    1 cod filet
    4 oysters
    4 scallops
    2 shad roes
    1 nori sheet
    2 cloves garlic

Hopefully the roe isnt bad since i couldnt find anything horrible about it and its a sought after type of roe like caviar. Let me know what you guys think.

thats interesting.. I just buy formula 1 or 2 cubes.. but making a buffet seems like a nice idea.. what does the seafood counter guy say when you buy 2 shrimps and 1/2 a oyster? :))
